Mall of America

It was early in the a.m. - the sun was shining and the air was filled with anticipation. We stepped into the van to go to the Mall of America. Long drive, but a portable DVD player dulls the wait. We only had to stop one to let one of our three participating kids share their breakfast with the rest of the family - though it had been regurgitated first. We arrived for lunch to fill the void the breakfast left, and dined at Famous Dave's in the mall. Lip smacking good, even the renowned family food critics gobbled the grubs. Then onwards and upwards - as we stroll trough the three level circular experience. Books, toys, candy and non-essentials were all part of the tour before we ate dinner at Mc-D's. There was even a tornado warning, and we had to take cover, before leaving for the hotel. The children and adults all went down before 9:30...zzzzzz
