Disney's "adorable" talking puppies are back, and this time they venture to the frosty arctic and team up with new friends in a thrilling dogsled race across Alaska. Rated "G" for generally boring, it does not even have a decent story line or credible characters. After watching movies like "Babe," "Charlotte's Web" and "Snow Dogs" - this flick comes along as a third-rate turkey. The only thing that kept the kids watching was the close-ups of the golden-retriever puppies. Appearantly, five of the 30 puppies used also died while on location for the filming of the movie, which does not neccesarily make it too cute to watch. I am only giving Snow Buddies this high of a rating for all the good compositing and special effects...
