The children were really feeling the blahs after this last snowfall. They had a taste of spring just days before and were playing outside almost all day. Now they are stuck inside again, except for the occasional 20 minute trek outside to play in the snow. Today especially the blues were in high gear so I pulled out a trick from my bag...ice cream sundaes for lunch dessert. They normally don't even get dessert after supper, but I thought this might cheer them up. Kobe, Kian and Karis could hardly believe their eyes when they saw the neopolitan ice cream, chocolate sauce, nuts and caramel. Kobe and Kian kept most of it in their mouths, but Karis, well, she wore most of it rather than getting it in her mouth. It was a fun memory though and gave the children a little lift to continue on with the day.
