When stories have been read, and 'jammies are on, the two middle kids stumble over each other in a rush to get to the bathroom. It's time to brush their teeth. Fumbling for the brushes, turning on water and surveying the landscape for toothpaste, the kids hardly notice that daddy has not even reached the bathroom yet to supervise. The toothpaste has been put away for just this reason, to ensure minimal damage in case of parental inability to obtain warp-speed so late in the day. Once the paste is on, the brushes are quickly rinsed before the toothpaste is devoured and the toothbrush is dry. The pearly whites are clean. It's time for bed...
