Church

We went to church this morning, and we were taken by surprise by a couple of things: one good and one bad. Firstly, Kyrie was in the nursery for the first time this morning and behaved very well indeed. No fusses or complaint, we half-way expected to be paged to come help out - but no need for that worry. Secondly, we were informed at the end of the service that out pastor is leaving his position at the church - effective immediately. He has only been in the position since last summer, and as a congregation we were given no forewarning. We were not given a reason for the departure either, but the latter part of the sermon seemed different that the first part and was about pointing fingers and complaining instead of vocalizing concerns. We are sad to see him go...
