Strong and powerful drama, with a window into prejudice, hate and redemption. Good script, nice acting and nice directing. A film with disturbing concepts and twisted ideas takes the viewer along the ride from 1970s Afghanistan to 1980s America - then back to early 2000s Afghanistan. If Shakespeare was a muslim generation-X South-East Asian, he might have concocted something like this. A film worthy of a look, but quite harsh to watch...
